Parma and manager Fabio Pecchia have agreed to continue their partnership for the foreseeable future. The Italian coach, who led the team to promotion last season, remains firmly at the helm of the club. In the current campaign, Parma has collected seven points from eight matches in Serie A.
Kyle J. Krause, the president of Parma, spoke to CBS Sports Golazo about the future of the manager, revealing an extension of Pecchia’s contract. Krause stated, “We have renewed our coach’s contract. Fabio Pecchia has been a fantastic asset for the club, an important partner in building what we want to achieve. He will stay with us until 2027.”
This announcement cements Pecchia’s position at the club for the long term, with his new contract set to run until June 30, 2027. The official announcement of the contract renewal is expected to follow soon.
Pecchia’s success in guiding Parma back to Serie A has clearly impressed the club’s ownership. Despite a somewhat challenging start to the current season, the faith in Pecchia’s abilities remains strong. This long-term commitment suggests that Parma sees Pecchia as integral to their future plans and ambitions in Italian football.
