Hellas Verona have officially announced the appointment of Paolo Zanetti as their new head coach. The former Empoli manager steps in to replace Marco Baroni. In a statement on the clubs official site, Hellas confirmed:
“Hellas Verona FC announces that Paolo Zanetti has been appointed as the new head coach of the First Team. He has committed to the Gialloblù Club until June 30, 2025, with an option for a second year.
Zanetti, 41, hails from Valdagno. After two years in Lega Pro with Südtirol, he moved to Serie B with Venezia, where he achieved promotion to Serie A. Following a season in Serie A with the Venetians, he joined Empoli and successfully secured their place in the top flight during the 2022/2023 season.
Hellas Verona FC extends a warm welcome to coach Paolo Zanetti and all members of his staff and wishes them the best of luck in their new roles.”
