Napoli have officially announced the signing of Luis Hasa from Lecce, marking a significant move in the January transfer window. The young talent arrived earlier in the day to undergo medical examinations, and the Partenopei have now confirmed the acquisition through an official statement.
The club’s announcement was succinct: “SSC Napoli communicates that it has permanently acquired the sporting services of player Luis Hasa from U.S. Lecce.”
The transfer is reported to be worth approximately €500,000, with Juventus set to receive 30% of the fee, amounting to €150,000, due to a sell-on clause. Hasa has committed to a five-year contract with Napoli, showcasing the club’s long-term faith in his potential.
However, Hasa’s journey with Napoli might take an unexpected turn. The departure of Alessio Zerbin could trigger a domino effect, potentially involving Hasa himself. There are indications that the talented Italian-Albanian midfielder might be immediately loaned out to Bari, another club owned by the De Laurentiis family.
This move could facilitate a swap deal bringing Mehdi Dorval, a 22-year-old right-sided player, to Napoli as a direct replacement for Zerbin. Dorval’s versatility and potential make him an attractive option to fill the void left by Zerbin’s exit.
