Monza have officially confirmed the signings of Arsenal defender Pablo Mari and Napoli striker Andrea Petagna on loan. The duo completed their club medicals yesterday and have become part of newly-promoted Monza’s squad for the upcoming season.
Monza have been among the most active in the Italian transfer market, signing a total of 19 players so far.
Mari joins the club with an option to buy set at €5m for next summer while Petagna’s loan is expected to cost €2.5m with the option to buy him outright for €10, plus bonuses.
Monza have agreed deals for the likes of Andrea Ranocchia, Alessio Cargno, Stefano Sensi and Mattia Pessina.
