Milan have completed the signing of Real Madrid full-back Alex Jiménez on a permanent transfer, following his successful loan spell. The 19-year-old spent the last season with the Rossoneri, making five appearances for the senior team. Milan retained a €5 million option to sign him outright, which the club have now confirmed that they’ve exercised. A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the news:
“AC Milan is delighted to announce it has exercised the option to sign Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez from Real Madrid on a permanent deal.
Born in Madrid on 8 May 2005 and coming up through the Los Blancos youth sector, Jiménez arrived at AC Milan last season and picked up 19 appearances for the Primavera, contributing to the campaign that saw them participate in the Youth League final. The Spanish player made his senior debut on 2 January 2024 in a Coppa Italia clash against Cagliari, totalling 5 appearances.
Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez has signed a contract with AC Milan until 30 June 2028 with the option to extend his stay until 30 June 2029. “
