Lazio have officially announced the signing forward Loum Tchaouna from recently relegated Salernitana. The 21-year-old forward leaves the Campania club after their drop to Serie B in the 2023/24 season.
Lazio announced the signing in an official statement: “S.S. Lazio announces the permanent acquisition of the sporting contract of player Loum Tchaouna from U.S. Salernitana.”
Tchaouna made 35 appearances for Salernitana last season, scoring six goals and providing four assists. The young attacker took to Instagram to bid farewell to Salernitana fans:
“A chapter closes, not as we had hoped – but God has a better plan for us,” Tchaouna wrote. “I sincerely thank the entire club (the technical staff, management, partners, fans, and my teammates) for everything they have taught and given me this season. I wish you all the best in the future because you deserve it.”
