Brazilian side Cruzeiro have reached an agreement for the transfer of Juventus forward Kaio Jorge for €7 million. The 22-year-old spent the last season on loan at Frosinone, having spent much of the previous season sidelined through injury, missing almost 500 days of action.
Cruzeiro have now released a statement, confirming that they’ve reached an agreement with the Bianconeri for the youngsters transfer:
Cruzeiro announces that it has reached a verbal agreement for the permanent transfer of Kaio Jorge, together with Juventus-ITA and the athlete’s staff.
The striker is expected in Belo Horizonte later this week. If all negotiating conditions are maintained and the athlete passes the medical exams, Kaio Jorge will wear the Cruzeiro shirt for the next five seasons
Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus are set to pocket close to €7 million from the transfer.
