Juventus have officially announced the signing of French midfielder Khephren Thuram from Nice on a five-year contract. The 23-year-old arrived in Turin yesterday morning with his father, former Juve defender Lilian Thuram, before undergoing medical tests at the Bianconeri’s J-Medical centre.
A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the transfer:
“The transfer of Khéphren Thuram from OGC Nice to Juventus is official: the 2001-born midfielder has signed a five-year contract until 30 June 2029.”
A further statement confirmed the financial details of the move:
Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement has been reached with OGC Nice for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Khephren Thuram-Ulien for a onsideration of € 20 million, payable in three years, plus additional charges of € 0.6 million. Juventus signed a playing contract with the same player until 30 June 2029
