Juventus have officially announced the contract extension of their long-serving goalkeeper, Carlo Pinsoglio, in a move that solidifies his place in the club’s future. The Italian shot-stopper, who has been an integral part of the Bianconeri family, has agreed to extend his stay at the Turin-based club until June 30, 2026.
Pinsoglio’s journey with Juventus has been nothing short of remarkable. Having come through the club’s youth ranks, he has spent the majority of his professional career associated with the Old Lady. After several loan spells to gain experience, including stints at Viareggio, Pescara, Modena, Livorno, and Latina, Pinsoglio returned to Juventus in 2017 to assume the role of third-choice goalkeeper.
While his on-field contributions may seem limited at first glance, Pinsoglio’s importance to Juventus extends far beyond his playing time. Since the 2017/18 season, he has accumulated 247 minutes of official play across 6 appearances, conceding 5 goals and keeping 2 clean sheets. His most recent clean sheet came in the final match of the previous season against Monza.
