Juventus have officially confirmed the contract extension of promising youngster Nicolo Fagioli until 2026. The move has been in the works since the start of the summer as the club have been keen to tie him down to a longer deal following his standout season for Cremonese in 2021-22.
The 21-year-old came through the Juve Primavera, having joined them in 2015 and working his way through the various levels at the club, including the Under-23 team.
His contract with the Bianconeri was due to expire next summer, but the club have confirmed this has now been extended until 2026.
The injuries to Paul Pogba and Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot’s impending move to Manchester United, could result in the youngster featuring for Juve on Monday when they face Sassuolo in the league opener.
Fagioli helped Cremonese to Serie A promotion last season scoring three goals and seven assists in 33 appearances.
