OFFICIAL: Ivan Juric appointed as new AS Roma head coach

Start

Roma have officially announced Ivan Juric as the new Head Coach of their First Team, with a contract running until June 30, 2025. The Croatian tactician, born in 1975, brings a wealth of experience to the Italian capital.

Juric’s journey in football began as a player, with a lengthy career spanning Croatia, Spain, and Italy. His transition into coaching started in youth football before he moved into an assistant role alongside Gian Piero Gasperini.

His Serie A debut as a head coach came in the 2016-17 season with Genoa. This opportunity followed his successful campaign with Crotone, where he achieved the club’s first-ever promotion to the top flight in the previous season.

From 2019 to 2021, Juric took charge of Hellas Verona, guiding the team to two consecutive seasons of safety in Serie A while also developing several players. His most recent role was at Torino, where he served as manager from 2021 to 2024, becoming the second-longest serving coach in the club’s last two decades.

Juric’s appointment marks a new chapter for AS Roma, as they look to benefit from his tactical acumen and track record of player development.
