OFFICIAL: Italy name provisional 30-man EURO’s squad

Start

Luciano Spalletti has officially revealed his 30-man preliminary Italy squad in preparation for the upcoming European Championship. The Azzurri, who triumphed in the last edition in 2021, are set to defend their title in Germany.

Since taking over the national team in September of last year, Spalletti has invigorated Italian football fans with his dynamic 4-3-3 formation. With the team looking to redeem itself after failing to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, hopes are high for a strong performance.

Today, Spalletti has selected his 30-man squad, from which four players will be cut to meet the tournament’s 26-player limit. The Azzurri will play two friendlies ahead of Euro 2024, facing Turkey on June 4th and Bosnia on June 9th.
