Inter Milan have officially announced the contract extension of Yann-Aurel Bisseck, as previously reported. The 23-year-old German defender has signed a new agreement that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2029.
Bisseck has shown consistent growth since joining Inter, and his performances have impressed the club’s management. In recent days, the player’s agents arrived in Milan to negotiate with CEO Giuseppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, laying the groundwork for the new contract.
The defender’s previous contract was set to expire on June 30, 2028, but has now been extended by an additional 12 months. The new agreement includes a significant salary increase, elevating Bisseck’s earnings from his current wage, which was well below one million euros, to a substantially higher figure.
Bisseck joined Inter in the summer of 2023 and made his debut for the Nerazzurri in the first match of the 2023/24 Serie A season against Monza. He scored his first goal for Inter on December 23 in a home match against Lecce, followed by his second in a crucial game against Bologna. To date, the defender has made 32 appearances for Inter, scoring two goals.
This contract extension demonstrates Inter’s faith in Bisseck’s potential and their commitment to securing his long-term future at the club. It also reflects the player’s rapid integration into the team and his growing importance in Inter’s defensive lineup.
