Hellas Verona have announced the signing of French defender Yllan Okou on loan from Sporting Club Bastiais until June 2025, with an option to buy.

“Verona – Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired the services of French defender Yllan Okou on loan from Sporting Club Bastiais until June 30, 2025, with an option to buy.
Born in Poitiers, France, on December 23, 2002, Okou began his football career in the youth academy of AS Monaco. He made his professional debut on February 2, 2022, in a Coupe de France match where Monaco secured a 3-1 away victory against Quevilly-Rouen. During his time in Monaco’s youth teams, Okou scored a total of four goals and provided one assist in 26 appearances.
In 2023, the defender moved to Bastia, where he made 25 appearances in Ligue 2, the French second division, and scored two goals last season.
