Juventus have officially announced the transfer of Hans Nicolussi Caviglia to Venezia. The 24-year-old midfielder, who previously played for Perugia and Salernitana, has completed his move to the newly-promoted Serie A side.
Nicolussi Caviglia, a product of Juventus’ youth academy, made 10 appearances for the Bianconeri under manager Massimiliano Allegri last season, including a notable start in the Coppa Italia final where he replaced the suspended Manuel Locatelli.
The transfer agreement between Juventus and Venezia is structured as an initial loan with an obligation to buy. The total value of the deal is reported to be around €4.5 million, which will be paid to Juventus. Additionally, the Turin club has secured a percentage of any future transfer fee should Venezia sell the player in the future.
In their official statement, Juventus acknowledged the long-standing relationship with Nicolussi Caviglia, who has been with the club since his youth. The statement read: “The paths of Hans Nicolussi Caviglia and Juventus are separating after a lifetime together: the player born in 2000 moves to Venezia on a temporary basis with an obligation to purchase permanently.”
