Fiorentina have completed the signing of Angolan striker M’Bala Nzola in a reported €13 million transfer deal. La Viola have been tracking the Spezia forward for the course of the summer, and club president Joe Barone confirmed that the deal was going through just days ago.
The move has now been made official via a statement on Fiorentina’s official club website:
ACF Fiorentina is delighted to announce the signing of M’Bala Nzola from Spezia Calcio on a permanent transfer.
Born in Buco-Zau, Angola on August 18, 1996, Nzola has previously played for Carpi, Trapani and Spezia. With the latter club, he scored 26 goals in 77 Serie A appearances.
The 26-year-old striker also has six caps and two goals for Angola.
