Como have officially announced the acquisition of German defender Marc Oliver Kempf from Hertha BSC on a three-year contract. The 28-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the Italian club, having made over 150 appearances in the Bundesliga throughout his career.
Kempf developed his skills in the Eintracht Frankfurt youth academy before going on to play for notable German clubs such as Freiburg and Stuttgart. In his most recent season with Hertha Berlin, he demonstrated his defensive prowess and offensive capabilities, scoring four goals in 25 appearances.
Como coach, Cesc Fàbregas, expressed his enthusiasm for the new signing, stating, “Marc is a solid and experienced defender with numerous Bundesliga appearances and a good offensive instinct. He will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to our team.”
The German defender shared his excitement about joining Como 1907, saying, “I am really happy and ready for this new adventure. I can’t wait to meet my teammates.
