Start

Juventus have officially confirmed that Adrien Rabiot has signed a one-year contract extension with the club. Italian press had suggested that Manchester United had made a bid to sign the Frenchman on a free transfer when his contract with Juve ended this week. The Bianconeri have now confirmed that Rabiot will remain with them for at least one more year, with an official from the clubs website reading:

Adrien Rabiot has extended his stay at Juventus.

Adrien has renewed his contract until 30 June 2024 and is ready to experience more emotion in the black and white stripes. 177 appearances, 17 goals and three trophies – a Scudetto, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa – a haul he aims to enhance.

Rabiot joined Juventus in the summer of 2019 at the end of his adventure with PSG and over these four seasons has been central to the Bianconeri midfield: 37 appearances in Serie A and one goal scored in his first season – the one that led to his Serie A winner’s medal; 47 appearances and five goals in his second campaign, with success in the Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup; 45 appearances without hitting the back of the net in season number three before peaking in the most recent campaign with 48 appearance (second only to Danilo in the squad in terms of playing) and 11 goals – eight in Serie A, two in the Champions League and one in the Europa League.

Since the 2019/20 season, no player has played more matches than he has (177, equal with Juan Cuadrado), and, moreover, this year just concluded, Adrien set a personal best for assists and goals. Speaking of goals, during this season just concluded no one scored more than him at the Allianz Stadium, the ground that has become his home, the scene of those trademark galloping runs that inspired the team time after time.

And the story continues – after all there are still many roads to travel side by side and we are ready to keep running towards our goals together.
