OFFICIAL: AC Milan Parts Ways with Fodé Ballo-Touré

Start

AC Milan have officially announced the mutual termination of Fodé Ballo-Touré‘s contract, marking the end of the defender’s journey with the club. The 28-year-old Senegalese left-back, who originally joined Milan in 2021, departs after a tenure that included a Scudetto victory in the 2021-22 season.

During his time at AC Milan, Ballo-Touré accumulated 26 appearances and 1 goal with the first team, and an additional 3 appearances with Milan Futuro. His most recent season was spent on loan at Fulham in the 2023-24 campaign.

Born in France to Malian and Senegalese parents, Ballo-Touré represented Senegal at the international level, including participation in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, which Senegal won, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In recent months, Ballo-Touré had been marginalized at Milan, being part of the Milan Futuro squad and making only three appearances. His contract, originally set to expire in June 2025, has now been terminated by mutual consent.

The official statement from AC Milan wished Ballo-Touré the best for the continuation of his career, signalling a respectful conclusion to their professional relationship.
