Although he has expressed his desire to stay and contribute, even changing his jersey number to accommodate new signing Alvaro Morata, Milan remains firm in their decision. The club is actively seeking a new midfielder, with Youssouf Fofana and Manu Koné as top targets, which further complicates Adli’s chances of staying. Additionally, roster constraints in Serie A and UEFA competitions mean Adli could occupy a valuable slot, making his departure more likely.
Interest in Adli has emerged from the Premier League, with Brentford reportedly considering a bid of around €12 million . However, they are also in advanced negotiations for another Serie A midfielder, Jens Cajuste from Napoli, which could affect their pursuit of Adli.
