Theo Hernandez Is Being Tracked By Three Premier League Clubs With Milan Exit Imminent

Start

The latest Theo Hernandez transfer news has revealed that Chelsea, Man City and Tottenham are all interested in the Milan star.

Hernandez is likely to leave the San Siro this summer with the Rossoneri looking to raise funds for a squad overhaul. The France international has just over a year of his contract remaining so moving him on is a priority.

Although a fans favorite, Hernandez is expected to be sold for a sizable fee which will help Milan’s financial situation. The full-back is likely to fetch around €30million ($34.1million).

Since joining the Serie A giants in 2019, Hernandez has proven himself as one of the best full-backs in the world. Not only is he defensively solid, his offensive stats are hugely impressive.

In his 256 appearances, he has scored 34 goals and provided 45 assists. Those figures are truly amazing for a player who plays predominantly as a left-back.

Theo Hernandez Transfer News Reveals Premier League Interest

According to Fichajes, Premier League clubs Chelsea, Man City and Tottenham are in a three-way battle to sign Theo Hernandez.

If Hernandez does decide to leave Milan, he’ll certainly have plenty of options to ponder. Having played in Spain and Italy, a transfer to England would offer an exciting new challenge.

The trio of Premier League clubs are all looking to strengthen their left-hand flanks and affording Hernandez would not be an option.

However, Spurs do not have the advantage of being able to offer European soccer. The only way the north Londoners will be able to do so is if they win the Europa League.

Chelsea are understood to want Hernandez as a solid alternative to Marc Cucurella. Pep Guardiola’s City side have used Josko Gvardiol on the left this season but want to transition him back into the centre.

As the 2024/25 campaign draws to a close, interest in Hernandez is expected to accelerate. At the time of writing, it’s the English trio who lead the way.
