When Are Easter Monday’s Postponed Serie A Fixtures Rescheduled For?

Start

After Monday’s Serie A postponed fixtures were confirmed owing to the passing of Pope Francis, many will be wondering what dates the games are rescheduled for.

A total of four Italian top-flight matches were due to be played on April 21. Those who were suppose to be in action included the likes of Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina.

The Old Lady was pencilled in for an away fixture against Parma. Igor Tudor’s side would have regained fourth in the standings with a win at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.

The Biancocelesti were aiming to leapfrog rivals Roma into a European berth. Marco Baroni’s side can still do so owing to their newly-found one-game advantage against Genoa.

After reaching the Conference League semi-final on Thursday, La Viola are primed to play continental soccer again in 2025-26. However, Raffaele Palladino’s men must pick up maximum points at Cagliari to stay in the hunt.

Mid-table sides Torino and Udinese were due to meet at the Stadio Filadelfia this afternoon. Both sides are locked on 40 points with just six games each to play.

When Will Easter Monday’s Serie A Postponed Fixtures Be Played?

The Serie A postponed fixtures originally set for Easter Monday will now all be played on Wednesday, April 23. All four matches will kick-off at 18:30 CET (12:30 ET).

On the same evening, Milan and Inter meet in the semi-final second leg of the 2025 Coppa Italia. Naturally, the two rivals weren’t due in action on Easter Monday so that fixture remains unaffected.

The exact same applies to the other semi-finalists Bologna and Empoli. Both teams will meet at the Renato Dall’Ara on Thursday.

As it stands, the Nerazzurri and Rosoneri are locked at 1-1. I Rossoblù hold a three-goal advantage over Roberto D’Aversa’s side going into the second leg.
