Premier League Trio Interested In Signing Juventus Youngster Nicolo Savona

Start

Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton are all reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Juventus youngster Nicolo Savona this summer.

Juventus defender Nicolo Savona could be on the way out of Turin this summer, with reports suggesting that a whole host of Premier League sides, along with a Bundesliga side, are interested in signing the young defender.

Savona has become a regular in the Juve team this term, making a total of 33 appearances across all competitions, in which he has registered two goals and an assist, and he also earned his first senior Italy call-up in November.

The 22-year-old mainly plays as a right-back but has the versatility to be fielded at left-back or center-back and has been praised for his composure on the ball, a highly sought-after asset in the modern game.

Nicolo Savona Transfer News: Premier League Trio Interested

Italian news outlet TuttoJuve reports that English trio West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth are among the interested parties, and so are 2023/24 German top-flight winners Bayer Leverkusen.

Their report claims that Leverkusen are showing strong interest in the €20/25 million-rated talent amid the potential departure of Jeremie Frimpong and with Nordi Mukiele’s loan due to expire at the end of the campaign.

The Hammers, meanwhile, are also said to be interested in Genoa’s Koni De Winter, while they currently have Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their first-choice right-back.

Since joining from Manchester United last summer, Wan-Bissaka has solidified himself as a mainstay in the East Londoners’ backline, therefore Savona would likely play second fiddle to the Crystal Palace academy graduate.

The Italian is contracted to La Vecchia Signora until the summer of 2029, therefore they are under no obligation or pressure to sell, but TuttoJuve states that Juve are evaluating the situation and could decide to cash in if an offer is too tempting to refuse.
