If the latest Chelsea transfer news is to be believed, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa could be on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Cameroonian international has been an integral part of Antonio Conte’s side this season. So far in 2024-25, Anguissa has scored six goals and provided four assists across all competitions.
He also won the Scudetto in 2023 alongside the likes of Victor Osimhen, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-jae. Earlier this season, Anguissa was named the Serie A Player of the Month for January.
Napoli are very much in the race to win their second title in three seasons. The Gli Azzurri are currently second on goal difference behind Inter Milan.
Anguissa’s future is up in the air at the moment as his contract expires in June. However, there is an agreement in place between the player and club to extend for a further two years.
That will make the Blues quest more difficult to sign Anguissa. Whatever happens, the midfield maestro is not expected to make a decision on his future until the season concludes.
Anguissa has plenty of experience in England’s elite division. He spent four years with neighbors and rivals Fulham between 2018-2022.
