From Conte’s perspective, it was his first major role in Italy’s top division and therefore his first at Juve.
In 2012-13, Conte won the Serie A title by a much larger margin but did taste five league defeats throughout the campaign.
Juve finished nine points clear of nearest rival Napoli. However, Conte was caught up in the Calcioscommesse scandals. He would eventually serve a four month suspension.
The following season, Conte and his charges set a Serie A record after finishing top of the table with a staggering 102 points. A total of which is unlikely to be beaten for some time.
