Premier League club Newcastle United are the latest side to be linked with Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman’s contract with the Bianconeri ends next month and there’s been no indication of a renewal taking place, making it likely he will leave Turin as a free-agent on June 30.
Calciomercato report that Juventus will try their best to keep the 28-year-old at the club, but the chances of that happening are getting slimmer and slimmer.
He continues to be courted by Manchester United, who almost agreed a deal to sign him last summer, but the uncertainty over the clubs ownership may put a hold on their ability to sign new players for the moment. As such, Calciomercato claim that Newcastle will try and take advantage of the situation by making their own offer to Rabiot.
The Magpies are close to securing Champions League football for the next season which is believed a key factor in Rabiot’s next destination.
