Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has sustained another injury, meaning he will miss the upcoming Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The Belgian striker has only just returned to action after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury shortly after Inter’s defeat to Lazio.
Sky Sport Italia now report that Lukaku has a scar of the femoral biceps of the left thigh, which is probably due to the intensity with which the striker has pushed to return to the pitch in recent days.
Lukaku is set to miss the Champions League trip to Bayern and is almost certain to miss the Derby D’Italia this weekend between Inter and Juve.
It’s his second injury in two months and while he’s barely featured for the Nerazzurri this season, he is expected to complete his loan in Milan and shouldn’t be a doubt for the World Cup next month.
