Napoli are bracing for a busy January transfer window as discussions heat up regarding the future of star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian international, who has become a key player for the Azzurri, is reportedly on the verge of a move to Paris Saint-Germain, with an agreement already verbally established between the two clubs.
Gianluca Di Marzio report that a meeting is scheduled for next week between Napoli and PSG to finalize the details of the transfer, with the French club prepared to offer between €70 million and €75 million for Kvaratskhelia. Additionally, there is the possibility of including Milan Skriniar in the deal, which would see Napoli covering his salary as part of an overall package valued at around €80 million.
In anticipation of Kvaratskhelia’s potential departure, Napoli are also eyeing options to strengthen their squad. The club has set its sights on acquiring Lorenzo Pellegrini from Roma, while evaluating Galeno from Porto as a possible replacement on the wing. However, Galeno is not the only candidate under consideration as Napoli searches for the right fit.
Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa’s prospects of joining Napoli appear to be diminishing, as he reportedly wishes to complete the season with Liverpool. Additionally, Edon Zhegrova’s transfer from Lille seems unlikely, as the French club is not inclined to sell.
