As Napoli prepare to face Udinese, sporting director Giovanni Manna shared his thoughts on the team’s current state and recent transfers. Speaking to DAZN before the match, Manna emphasized the importance of unity within the club.
“There is cohesion. To achieve results and build something, we need to be united, to form a block. For now, this is bearing fruit for us,” Manna stated.
He also addressed the relationship with manager Antonio Conte, highlighting the value of their collaboration: “When we talk about a journey, it’s clear that there are many aspects to evaluate. The manager speaks from his vast experience. I’m happy to be able to discuss with him; for me, it’s an opportunity for growth.”
Manna then turned his attention to new signing Noah Okafor, expressing confidence in the player’s potential: “He has the characteristics we were looking for in that position. Last year, he scored 6-7 goals as a substitute. He has quality and skill, but he’s currently behind in terms of fitness, and we’re working on that. Without European competitions, we’re trying to get him to his best as soon as possible.”
