Napoli Set Sights on Yeremay Hernández from Deportivo La Coruña

Start

Napoli are making serious moves in the transfer market, with their latest target being Yeremay Hernández from Deportivo La Coruña. The Italian club is actively working on securing the young Spanish winger, viewing him as a potential investment for the future.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that while Napoli continue to pursue Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, with ongoing efforts to convince the player, their interest in Yeremay is a separate and concrete endeavour. The 22-year-old left-winger has caught the eye of Napoli’s scouts, who believe his characteristics align well with the club’s needs.

Deportivo La Coruña have set a release clause of €20 million for Yeremay, a figure that Napoli is seriously considering. The Serie A side’s determination to sign the player stems from their desire to make a strategic investment in young talent.

Yeremay, born in 2002, has been impressing in La Liga 2 this season with eight goals and three assists in 18 appearances. His performances have not only attracted Napoli but have also drawn interest from clubs in Germany and Italy.

To accommodate Yeremay’s potential arrival, Napoli might consider offloading Cyril Ngonge. However, the club is prepared to pursue the Spanish winger regardless of Ngonge’s situation, indicating their strong commitment to securing Yeremay’s signature.
