Juventus will reportedly sign scout Giuseppe Pompilio next summer when his contract with Napoli comes to an end. The 49-year-old was one of the key architects in the Partenopei’s Scudetto success, working alongside now Juve director Cristiano Giuntoli in Naples.
Pompilio was expected to leave Napoli last summer with Giuntoli to make the switch to Turin, but chose to honour the remaining year of his contract.
With no suggestion of a contract renewal, Italian journalist Nicolo Schira reports that Pompilio will move to Juve in July 2024 when his Napoli deal ends.
Pompilio is expected to take over Matteo Tognozzi’s role with the Bianconeri, following the end of Tognozzi’s contract with Juve in October 2023.
