Napoli pushing to finalise Brescianini deal

Start

Napoli are continuing to make moves in the transfer window, with their sights set on midfielder Marco Brescianini. The Azzurri have recently made inquiries about the player and are now seeking to close the deal, provided Atalanta doesn’t finalize it first.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Naples-based club are keen on securing Brescianini’s signature, but their move is contingent on the departure of either Gianluca Gaetano or Jens Cajuste.

Interestingly, Atalanta’s negotiations for Brescianini have been in a standby mode for several days. Sensing an opportunity, Napoli have  made a proactive move by ‘reserving’ the player. However, the club now faces the challenge of closing the deal swiftly.

Brescianini’s recent performance with Frosinone has undoubtedly caught the attention of these top-tier clubs. In the last season, wearing the Frosinone jersey, he made an impressive 40 appearances across Serie A and Coppa Italia, contributing four goals and two assists.
