Napoli are actively pursuing Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho as they prepare for the anticipated departure of star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is reportedly set to join Paris Saint-Germain. According to recent reports from Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli have already made an initial offer of €45 million, including bonuses, for the talented 20-year-old Argentine forward.
Garnacho has emerged as a top target for Napoli head coach Antonio Conte, who views him as the ideal replacement for Kvaratskhelia. The club’s initial bid consists of €40 million plus €5 million in performance-related bonuses. However, Manchester United value Garnacho significantly higher, with demands exceeding £60 million (approximately €70 million). While the Red Devils are open to negotiations, they are firm on their valuation.
The interest from Napoli comes at a crucial time as they look to strengthen their attacking options amid Kvaratskhelia’s impending exit. The Georgian winger has expressed a desire to leave, and with personal terms reportedly agreed with PSG, Napoli is under pressure to secure a suitable replacement quickly.
Garnacho’s situation at Manchester United has also contributed to Napoli’s pursuit. Since the arrival of manager Ruben Amorim, Garnacho has seen his playing time diminish, making him more open to a transfer. Although he started in a recent FA Cup match against Arsenal, he had not been included in the starting lineup for several consecutive league games prior to that.
