Start

Sky Sport Italia report that Napoli are the latest Serie A side to be linked with a move for Galatasaray winger Nicolo Zaniolo. The 24-year-old is currently on loan with Premier League side Aston Villa, but isn’t expected to make his stay permanent, meaning a return to Turkiye is on the cards

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that following a turbulent post-Scudetto season, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is set to change the club’s management structure, with current sporting director Mauro Meluso set to depart in the coming months.

De Laurentiis is expected to replace him with Giovanni Manna from Juventus with reports indicating that a verbal agreement has been reached for a five-year tenure, signaling Manna’s readiness to depart the Bianconeri and embrace the challenge at Napoli.

One potential move under Manna’s consideration is the acquisition of Nicolo Zaniolo. According to Di Marzio, Manna has long admired Zaniolo’s talent, previously expressing interest in securing the forward for Juventus. With Zaniolo’s loan spell at Aston Villa set to conclude in the summer, Napoli see an opportunity to capitalize on theyoungsters potential availability.

Zaniolo is not expected to remain at Galatasaray beyond the summer, but they could be open to negotiating another loan deal for the talented forward. Zaniolo himself harbors ambitions of earning a spot in Luciano Spalletti’s Italy squad for the upcoming European Championship, making his next career move crucial for both personal and professional reasons.
