Napoli are reportedly keen to strengthen their right-flank this summer, and have identified RB Salzburg Amar Dedic as their primary target. The Partenopei are expected to make a significant shift in tactics in formation following the arrival of new coach Antonio Conte, focusing particularly on versatile players for the flanks to fit into Conte’s envisioned 3-4-3 formation.
Sky Sport Italia outline how one of the primary targets for the right flank is Amar Dedic, a promising right wing-back who has been with Salzburg since 2020.
Dedic has had an impressive season with the Austrian club, drawing interest from several top teams, including Inter Milan, who have considered him as a potential replacement should Denzel Dumfries depart.
The 21-year-old Bosnian international has showcased his talents across 31 matches in various competitions, including the Austrian Bundesliga, the ÖFB-Cup (Austrian Cup), and the Champions League, scoring five goals and providing five assists.
While Dedic is being targeted for the right flank, Napoli are also considering Leonardo Spinazzola for the left side. Spinazzola, whose contract with Roma expires on June 30, has been identified as a valuable addition to Conte’s squad.
