Radja Nainggolan has been released from custody but remains formally under investigation for participation in a criminal organization and money laundering allegations. The former Inter, Cagliari, and Roma midfielder was questioned by investigators, denied any involvement, and was subsequently released on the condition that he does not leave Belgium.
Through his social media channels, Nainggolan has spoken out for the first time, requesting respect for his privacy and the time he needs to recover from this situation. He also expressed his desire to refocus on football to regain his peace of mind.
In his message, Nainggolan stated: “Hello everyone. You can imagine that the last few days have been incredibly difficult. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all those who have supported me. The warm support of my family and friends, along with the loyalty and trust of KSC Lokeren-Temse, its extraordinary fans, and my teammates, give me the strength to move forward. I wish to express my gratitude to my lawyers, Mr. Mounir Souidi, for their tireless dedication and professionalism. I deeply appreciate their support.”
He continued, “Now that I’m back home, I want to focus completely on football and regaining my serenity. I kindly ask for respect for my privacy and the time I need to recover. For the moment, I am not allowed, and will not give, any interviews about the case. Once again, thank you for all the support. It means more to me than words can express, and I will never forget it.”
