Newly promoted Monza are being linked with an audacious bid to sign both Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi this summer. The Argentine duo are both set to make moves this summer with La Joya out of contract with Juventus while Icardi reportedly wants to leave PSG.
According to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Monza chairman Adriano Galliani has been in contact with Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Nara, who he has good relations with.
Monza will make a bid to sign Icardi in the final days of the transfer window, should he not have made the move to a new club before the window closes.
Galliani has also made contact with Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun to make it clear they are also interested in acquiring the free agent this summer.
Monza, who are owned by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, have already picked up Andrea Ranocchia, Alessio Cragno and Andrea Carboni, while Stefano Sensi’s loan move has also been confirmed today.
