Juventus have been hit with yet another injury blow as striker Arek Milik will spend at least a month on the sidelines. It’s the latest in a long list of injuries for the Polish international, and while the Juve infirmary was starting to empty, they were reliant on Milik for goals this season.
The club announced that the 28-year-old underwent tests that revealed a medium-grade lesion of the semimembranosus muscle of the left thigh.
Milik will undergo tests again in two weeks to define his expected recovery time, but the suggestion is that he won’t be back on the pitch until March.
The former Napoli man has been Juve’s most consistent goalscorer, scoring 8 times in all competitions this season.
