According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are seriously interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The 27-year-old has a contract with the Blues until 2024 and isn’t expected to pen a renewal, meaning he will most likely leave the club this summer.
Gazzeta outline how the Rossoneri are already beginning to plan for next season, and want to reinforce their midfield to add depth to the centre of the pitch.
London based Evening Standard also report on the news, suggesting Loftus-Cheek would need to agree a reduction in salary to help facilitate a move.
The midfielder currently earns £150,000-a-week, which would be a major stumbling block to any proposed move.
