Milan turn attentions to Frattesi and Lukaku

Start

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Milan will turn their attentions to Davide Frattesi and Romelu Lukaku, having agreed the sale of Sandro Tonali. News broke yesterday that the Rossoneri had agreed a deal with Newcastle United for the sale of the Italian international for a reported €70million, plus bonuses.

Gazzetta report that Tonali is close to making the move to the Premier League having agreed a five year deal with the Magpies. The newspaper report that attention has now turned to Frattesi, for whom Milan have been monitoring regardless.

Following Tonali’s sale, Frattesi has immediately become a top-target for the Rossoneri, despite having to compete with the likes of Juventus, Roma and Inter for his signature.

The more surpsiing news is that Milan may also make a bid to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, following his loan spell with Inter last season. The Belgian international has already turned down offers to play in the Saudi league in favour of remaining in Europe, and reportedly has asked to return to Italy next season.

Gazzetta suggest that Milan are now considering the prospect of signing Lukaku and could make an offer of around €40million for the forward
