Milan representatives will be at Lille’s Champions League match this evening to observe Sven Botman, Renato Sanches and Jonathan David. The Rossoneri are following with all three players with Sanches and Botman close to joining the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Milan will further scout all three players with a view to the summer market.
This follows on from news by SportItalia journalist Daniele Longo who reports that Sanches in wants to move to Milan. Longo states that ‘there is a definitive understanding between Milan and the midfielder’ and approval from both parties.
Milan boast an excellent relationship with Sanches’ agent Jorge Mendes, which gives them a boost in negotiations. They now need to agree terms with Lille who could accept between €18-€20 million for the Portuguese international.
Longo also suggests that barring any massive late twist, Sanches will be a Milan player in the summer.
