Multiple reports from Italy suggest Milan are close to completing the signing of Red Bull Salzburg striker Noah Okafor. The Rossoneri were first linked with the 23-year-old last year, when Calciomercato and others claimed Milan were closely following the young talent.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano now reports that the deal is almost done between Milan and Salzburg, with the transfer fee expected to be around €13/14 million.
The deal is expected to be at least 4-5 years, while medical tests could be completed as early as tomorrow, with Romano reporting that Okafor is scheduled to travel this evening.
Milan coach Stefano Pioli previously requested Okafor’s signing after breakthrough season in the Austrian Bundesliga where he scored 14 goals in all competitions.
