Milan to make offer for Alejo Veliz

Start

Milan are set to make an opening offer for Rosario Central striker Alejo Veliz in the coming days, but face competition from Nottingham Forest and Torino. The Rossoneri have been on a transfer in recent weeks, completing the signing of Samuel Chukwueze while getting a deal in place for Yunus Musah to join the club.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that after the sale of Ante Rebic to Besiktas and the imminent arrival of Musah from Valencia, Milan are continuing to work on their attack.

The report claims that in the past few days, there has seen a first meeting between Alejo Veliz’s agent and the Milan management, from which the Rossoneri’s interest in the young Argentine striker from Rosario Central was confirmed.

The agent of the 19-year-old remained in Italy and in the coming days there could be developments, with a new meeting and with the possibility of presenting a first offer to Rosario , who are asking for €15 million, that is, the value of the release clause, but they could sell him for even a little less.

Milan aren’t the only ones following Veliz as Torino have  already submitted an offer that was considered too low by Las Canallas, while in the Premier Nottingham Forest have initiated contacts for the striker, who has scored 11 goals in 23 games in the last six months.
