Milan continue to have a strong interest in Villarreal youngster Samuel Chukwueze and are considering Alvaro Morata as well. The Rossoneri are expecting an influx of cash from the sale of Sandro Tonali, money which is expected to be used to reinforce their midfielder and attack.
Sky Sport Italia claim that Milan are ‘very active’ in the transfer market at present and are always targeting Chukwueze, who is a ‘strong candidate’ for their attack.
Alongside, however, other names always remain of interest, including those of Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and West Ham United’s Gianluca Scamacca. The Spaniard, formerly of Juventus, has renewed his contract with the Colchoneros until June 2026, but has a release clause of just €10 million.
Chukwueze remains the favourite for the moment, having played 37 games in the league last season, capped off with 6 goals and 5 assists. In the UEFA Europa Conference League, the Nigerian played 9 games, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
