Inter centre-back Milan Škriniar has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, according to L’Équipe.
Škriniar, 27, rejected a recent €6m per year contract offer from Inter and is set to see his current deal expire in June, as previously reported by Foot Italia.
The Slovakia international was the subject of transfer talks between Inter and PSG last summer with football advisor Luis Campos making the defender a priority.
Following a prolonged saga, a deal was unable to progress with Inter ultimately rejecting a €50m plus add-ons offer in the hope that Škriniar would renew his contract at San Siro.
Škriniar has kept in contact with PSG chiefs since the summer and would receive a €12m sign-on bonus as part of his free transfer in June. He has allegedly held a verbal agreement with the Ligue 1 leaders for several weeks at this stage.
L’Équipe report, however, that this money could be financed immediately to terminate the remaining six months left on the 27-year-old’s contract with Nerazzurri and bring him to Stade de France this month.
Škriniar, who has featured in every Serie A fixture for Inter this season, signed in 2017 for €34m following an 18 month spell at Sampdoria and played a key role in Inter’s Scudetto-winning campaign two seasons ago.
