Milan set to part ways with Jovic in January, Juventus Interested

Start

Luka Jovic’s time at AC Milan appears to be nearing its end, with the Serbian striker falling out of favour under manager Paulo Fonseca. Having failed to start a single league game and accumulating just 78 minutes of playing time, Jovic’s exclusion from the Champions League squad list further underlines his peripheral status at the club.

Calciomercato report that despite his reluctance to leave Milan last summer, the situation has evolved, and a January departure now seems likely. Jovic’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has been actively exploring options for his client in recent weeks.

While several opportunities from exotic leagues have emerged, Ramadani is reportedly keen on pursuing a more prestigious option: Juventus. This potential move has gained traction following Arkadiusz Milik’s injury. Jovic’s familiarity with Dusan Vlahovic from their time together in the Serbian national team could make him an attractive backup option for the Bianconeri.

From Milan’s perspective, the club has already factored in the possibility of Jovic’s January exit. However, his departure is not expected to significantly alter their plans. Fonseca views Noah Okafor as a versatile option to be utilized more frequently in the second half of the season.

Nevertheless, Milan’s management, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada, remain vigilant in the transfer market. They are reportedly keeping an eye out for a striker with characteristics similar to Alvaro Morata, should an opportunity arise.
