AC Milan are the latest club to be linked with Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada. The talented Japanese International is set to leave the Bundesliga side as a free agent this summer and is being tracked by a number of European sides.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the 26-year-old is not going to be renewing with the Bundesliga club when his contract ends in June. Di Marzio claims that Kamada would very much like to join Milan, but the club are waiting to see if he is their best option:
“Speaking of free transfers, Milan will choose in the next few days whether to act on their interest in Kamada. He would like Milan, now Milan must decide whether to take him given that the competition is fierce.”
Kamada could be a potential replacement for on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz, who would Milan at least €22m this summer, if they elect to make his loan move permanent.
