Milan have reportedly made a cash plus player bid to sign Roma winger Nicolò Zaniolo this summer. The 22-year-old is yet to agree a contract extension with the Giallorossi with his current contract set to end in June 2024.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Rossoneri are keen on the player and have offered €25m plus Belgian forward Alexis Saelemaekers in a bid to sign Zaniolo.
The report also suggests that Roma have turned down the offer due to coach Jose Mourinho’s doubts over Saelemaekers but the two clubs are still in talks in the hopes of reaching an agreement.
Zaniolo struggled with injuries in the early part of the season but scored Roma’s most important goal of the campaign when he netted against Feyenoord in the inaugural Europa Conference League.
