Milan have made their first official approach for AZ Alkmaar midfielder Tijjani Reijnders who is reportedly at the top of their list. The Rossoneri are looking to reinforce in the centre of the pitch, following the departure of Sandro Tonali, who completed his move to Newcastle United earlier today.
According to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan coach Stefano Pioli met with the club’s CEO Giorgio Furlani today at Milan headquarters to discuss their transfer targets.
The report from Sky outlines how Reijnders is seemingly the first choice to replace Tonali, and confirms that Milan have officially begun negotiations with AZ, with their opening bid expected to be around €19 million.
The Rossoneri are also expected to make a move for Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic, as well as Valencia’s Yunus Musah.
