Sportitalia report that Milan emissaries were present at Bologna’s 2-0 win over Torino with Thiago Motta linked as a potential replacement for Stefano Pioli. The Rossoneri coach has been under pressure in recent weeks after a muddling results which included losses to Juventus, PSG and Udinese, as well as draws against Napoli and Lecce.
Italian media have suggested that Milan will look to replace Pioli at the end of the season, with Antonio Conte linked with the club.
Sportitalia Journalist Michele Criscitiello reports that Milan are keeping a close eye on Motta following his excellent season with the Rossoblu. Bologna have lost just twice this season in 13 matches, going 10 games unbeaten in a row.
The suggestion is that Milan are already looking for the next coach to succeed Pioli in the event that their form does not improve in the coming weeks and months.
